If it ain't broke. . .

Oh, but it IS broke.

Tyler Hansbrough's nose is officially broken and he'll be fitten for a plastic face mask this week, just in time to make the trip to Tampa for the ACC tourney which starts on Thursday, Friday for UNC.

I'm not sure how or why this blog became so focused on Mr. Hansbrough because, other than a moment during his freshman year where I proclaimed that I was going to have fun hating him for the next 4 years, I really haven't focused on him very much. He's good, but a sophomore slump (yes, his numbers are down, albeit slightly) has made him less hatable. So, it's nothing personal against Psycho-T, just a lot going on around him these days.

In other news, Gonzaga, VCU and Niagra have all earned automatic bids tonight so it appears as if we have to suffer through another NCAA Tourney with the Gonzaga Bulldogs, who have come to personify everything that I hate about the baby-majors getting too much attention from the committee. I realize they earned the auto bid this year, but their success over the past decade is why we have to waste valuable College Gamenight time discussing whether the Southern Illinois Salukis will be a 3 or a 4 seed in the big dance, courtesy of their earth shattering wins over . . . Virginia Tech and Butler. Am I reading that right?

Uugh. I can't believe it took this long to get Air Force out of the Top 25.
